Being Built

And the temple, when it was being built, was built with stone finished at the quarry, so that no hammer or chisel or any iron tool was heard in the temple while it was being built.
I Kings 6:7 NKJV

If we let Him, God has a way of quietly shaping us away from public view. The changes in our character can be dramatically evident without there being a lot of drama associated with the process. Jesus is humble and does not require the spotlight. He wants us to shine for Him so that we can introduce others to Him in naturally supernatural way.

However, He is so committed to changing our character that He will correct us quite publicly if we refuse to submit humbly to the private process. We can count on His love to hold us in place while He shapes us to resemble Him. The choice of venue for our process of change is largely our choice.
